On January 25 – 27, 2018 the Oversight Committee conducted field visit to Batumi. The purpose of the visit was to assess the status of implementation of the Global Fund programs.

On January 17, 2018 the 7th meeting of CCM TB Clinical Research Coordination Group was convened at the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

The meeting was aimed at presenting current status of planned and on-going TB studies.

On January 16, 2018 the oversight Committee conducted site visit to National Center of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases. The objective of the visit was to study closely the GFATM supported project: Provision of Support for Patients with Resistant Tuberculosis to Provide Improvement in Treatment and to collect information on harmonization of the approaches to support TB treatment adherence
