In response to the Global Fund Allocation letter Georgia CCM launches the coordination process of the development of TB and HIV Programs Continuation Requests.

The CCM’s Policy and Advocacy Advisory Committee was assigned a role of the platform in the development of the Requests. In order to ensure broad country dialogue with an active involvement of all stakeholders the CCM is expanding the composition of the PAAC.

The CCM welcomes participation of the Civil Sector Organizations especially KAPs and vulnerable populations in the working process.

On June 15, 2017 the Oversight Committee conducted the site visit to TB Mobile Ambulance.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the activities of the project and the current status of implementation of the Global Fund funded TBProgram.

On May 29, 2017 the 6th meeting of CCM TB Clinical Research Coordination Group was convened at the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

The meeting was aimed at presenting current status of planned and on-going TB studies.

On May 24, 20167 the meeting of the CCM Oversight Committee was held at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.  The dashboards covering period of October – December 2016 (P2) and January – March 2017 (HIV-P3; TB – P1) were discussed during the meeting.
