On January 17, 2018 the 7th meeting of CCM TB Clinical Research Coordination Group was convened at the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

The meeting was aimed at presenting current status of planned and on-going TB studies.

On January 16, 2018 the oversight Committee conducted site visit to National Center of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases. The objective of the visit was to study closely the GFATM supported project: Provision of Support for Patients with Resistant Tuberculosis to Provide Improvement in Treatment and to collect information on harmonization of the approaches to support TB treatment adherence

88th CCM meeting was convened on November 24, 2017 at the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia. The current status of implementation of the Global Fund’s projects,  the process of the preparation of programs continuation requests, the outline of the draft CCM transition plan and other important topics were presented and discussed.  The new initiative called end AIDS epidemic in Georgia was presented by Prof. Tengiz Tsertsvadze.

On October 25, 2017 the meeting of the CCM Oversight Committee was held at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health.  HIV and TB dashboards for Q2 of the year of 2017 were discussed during the meeting.
