In 1983 global community launched the AIDS Candlelight Memorial day campaigns.

Traditionally the day is commemorated on the 3rd week of May and by now over 90 countries are joining the global call for action.

Georgia  joined the AIDS Candlelight Memorial in 1996.

On May 8, 2015 the representatives of the Non-Governmental Organization “Winner Club” conducted a public lecture under aegis of the National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases to the students of Tbilisi Green School

On April 28, 2015 the meeting with the representatives of Prevention Task Force was held in the office of New Vector.

Mr. Tim Clary, the expert of Expertise France and the attendees of the meeting discussed CCM Governance Issues.

The mission  aimed at elaboration of CCM Governance Manual is supported by Expertise France.

The Memorandum of Understanding between Government of Georgia and company “Gilead” has been signed. With signing of the memorandum the new public healthcare project which has no analog has been launched. The program is aimed at elimination of hepatitis C in Georgia, at reducing the mortality and morbidity and prevention of the new cases.
