World AIDS Day is held on the 1^st December each year. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day, held for the first time in 1988.  On December 1, 2015, at Radisson Blue Iveria the conference “on the Fast Track to end AID” was held. The conference was jointly organized by  the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center, Prevention Task Force within the framework of GFATM HIV/AIDS program.
