On December 16-18, 2015 the Oversight Committee conducted the site visits to Zugdidi and Batumi. The purpose of the visit was to assess the current status of implementation of the Global Fund funded Programs.

Announcement of membership renewal
With the purpose of membership renewal Georgia CCM announces the call for NGO active in TB field, HIV KAPs and person living with HIV/AIDS to express their interest to work in Georgia CCM and present their candidacies for CCM membership.
The call concerns the following positions:
- NGOs (either international or national) active in the area of TB – 1 members
- HIV KAP – 2 members
- People living with HIV/AIDS – 1member

World AIDS Day is held on the 1st December each year. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day, held for the first time in 1988. On December 1, 2015, at Radisson Blue Iveria the conference “on the Fast Track to end AID” was held. The conference was jointly organized by the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center, Prevention Task Force within the framework of GFATM HIV/AIDS program.
