60th CCM meeting was convened on December 20, 2012 in Kazbegi Region, Gudauri.

The meeting was presided by Mrs. Sandra E. Roelofs, First Lady of Georgia, Chairperson of the CCM.  Mrs. Sandra E. Roelofs has been elected as a Chairperson of the CCM for another 4 years by all attended members. Difficulties and challenges of Harm Reduction Programs, the Global Fund Projects implementation status, findings and recommendations of the evaluation of HIV program, Renewal of HIV grant, Renewal of the consolidated TB grant, Draft National Tuberculosis Strategy and Action Plan, the Global Fund’s  recommendation to  strengthen CCM oversight, the situation with regard to HIV/AIDS affected population in penitentiary establishments and other important issues have been discussed during the meeting.

 

December 10, 2012.

The preliminary findings and recommendations of the evaluation of the HIV program financed by the Global Fund conducted by the team of external experts have been discussed during the debriefing session at the CCM Office on December 10, 2012.

The meeting was presided by Mr. David Sergeenko, Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, CCM Vice-Chair. The representatives of the Global Fund, CCM members and key stakeholders were presented at the meeting.

60th CCM meeting was convened on November 1, 2012 at the CCM Office. The meeting was presided by Mrs. Sandra Elisabeth Roelofs, First Lady of Georgia, CCM Chairperson. Mrs. Roelofs presented to Mr. Sergeenko, Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs and other attendees the scope of activities of the CCM, and the main directions of her involvement in the process of strengthening the healthcare system of Georgia. Mrs. Roelofs named Mr. Sergeenko as the Vice-Chair of the CCM Georgia. His candidacy was unanimously supported by all presented CCM Members. The Global Fund projects implementation status and the current status of the development of National Tuberculosis Strategy and Action Plan for 2013-2015 have been discussed during the meeting.
